Illustration Friday - "Theory"

This weeks topic "Theory" made me think of an evil scientist coming up with a theory to take over the world.  So I came up with this image.  It's painted in gouache- I'm still trying to figure out how to paint (I'm usually illustrating on the computer.).  I spent about 6 hours on this and had a blast:)

gwosh is pretty fun, isn't it? 6 hours is about right, too...you look up and boom! six hours later. my theory? the puter has a CLOCK, right, so working HERE still seems like you're on the "clock." painting, on the other side of the room, is all playtime.

and ppplleeasee. your painting looks like you've been weilding a sable #4 for AGES! wonderful, wonderful piece, scott.

This is great! I admire the fact that you used gouache, since this color always frightened me, and you used it really well.
Thanks for the comment you left on my blog :)

I don't know why I didn't catch this last week, but it is one of my favorites on the topic.
