Illustration Friday - "Poof!"

For this weeks topic of "Poof!", I wanted to try and keep it simple.   I'm not sure if you get "Poof!' out of it, but it is what it is.  Maybe one of the rabbits is named Poof- I'm reaching:)  Anyway...it took about 3 hours and was done in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Great shapes, composition and color scheme!! Your other stuff is also great, but I especially love this one. Sometimes the simple things are the best. :)

Yep, it gives me the "poof" idea.

Hi Scott
Cute! Love the monochromatic color scheme in combination with white - and the background has a very cool texture. To get the absolute poof effect, I think one of the rabbits could have catapulted out of the hat (maybe only seeing the cloud of dust behind it?), one of the others looking up, and one just smiling at the audience. Hehe. But this one is cute too!!

Thx for stopping by at my blog and for your cool support!

Definitely one of my top faves this week!!! SUPER adorable. And very fitting for POOF, too.

I really like the modern shapes you've used to create your rabbits -- very simple, clean, and elegant. Also, the different eyes do a great job of giving each rabbit its own personality. Nice work!

Great entry, love the bunnies and their different expressions! Your 'canned' entry is charming too.

Awesome piece, Scott. I love the way you contrasted the white bunnies against the textured background-- brilliant.

Great! I love the varied expressions on the bunnies. You get the impression that the one is terribly annoyed at being summoned from his cozy den inside that hat. :)

Nicely done. The colors, composition and design are brilliant. The work is crisp and inviting. It takes real talent to create something like this and still keep it simple. Even though it takes hours you are able to make it look effortless.
