I'm not sure which image I like best. One (bottom image) has more of the buildings, and I like how vertical it is. The other (top image) is more zoomed in- so you can see more of the detail. 
Anyway... for this week's Illustration Friday topic of "unbalanced" I did another robot. When fighting against a robot it's an unbalanced fight. Robots always win. This is a Illustrator/ Photoshop collaboration and took about 4 hours...

I prefer the top one better for the same reasons you posted. It really helps me see that robot, which is a great character!
tough choice, scoot, they are both so great! i'm gonna go with the bottom one, i like seeing the perspective with all the buildings.

What if those are robot drone planes? I realize that's a different kind of robot, but Is it still an unfair fight?

Great cityscape and that robot is a neat character. You have a wonderful imagination and I am glad you use it contributing inspiration to everyone who comes by. I really like your style.
Man your robots rule! For what its worth I think the super long vertical version. Like Michael said, it really adds to the drama!
